Shipping Methods



We ship all seafood via:

• UPS Next Day Air

• UPS Next Day Ground (local eligible zones only)


These methods ensure proper temperature control and product freshness.


Delivery Schedule



• Deliveries available Tuesday–Saturday

• No deliveries on Sundays or Mondays

• Saturday delivery surcharge applies (currently unavailable)



Order Cutoff Times



Orders placed by 3:00 PM EST Monday–Thursday qualify for same-week processing.

Orders accepted online 24/7.



Processing Time



Please allow 1–2 business days for processing prior to shipment.



Delivery Times



Once processed, orders ship via the selected Next Day service.

Delivery varies by destination ZIP code.

PACKAGING & FRESH PACK SYSTEM


Our custom Fresh Pack System keeps seafood properly chilled for up to 48 hours during transit.


Your shipment includes:

• Insulated Styrofoam cooler

• Frozen gel packs

• Specialized cold-holding materials

• Packaging Fee: $13 per order


Note: Gel packs may partially thaw during transit. This is normal as long as the product arrives cold.

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• Weight

• Order size

• Destination ZIP code


We work to secure competitive nationwide shipping rates.



SHIPPING POLICIES


Carrier Delays

Crab Boss is not responsible for UPS delays caused by weather, mechanical issues, or operational disruptions.

Refunds or replacements cannot be issued for carrier-related delays.



Incorrect Address Policy

Please verify all shipping details before placing your order. Crab Boss cannot replace or refund orders shipped to:

• Incorrect or incomplete addresses

• Missing apartment/suite numbers

• Customers unavailable at delivery

• Packages stolen after delivery



Missed Deliveries

If UPS leaves a package unattended, customers must retrieve it promptly.

We cannot replace or refund orders spoiled due to unattended packages.



Damaged or Spoiled Orders

If your order arrives damaged or spoiled, contact us within 24 hours of delivery.


Please include:

  1. Photos of the outer shipping box
  2. Photos of the inside packaging
  3. Photos of the product
  4. Your order number


All claims are reviewed individually.


ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY



Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of purchase only if processing has not begun.


Once preparation or shipping starts:

• No cancellations

• No modifications

• No refunds


REFUND POLICY

(Industry-standard for online seafood shippers)


Because we ship fresh, highly perishable seafood, all sales are final.


Crab Boss does not offer monetary refunds for:

• UPS delays

• Incorrect or incomplete addresses

• Missed deliveries

• Packages left outside

• Customer refusal of delivery


Refunds or replacements are considered only when Crab Boss is at fault, or when product arrives damaged/compromised and proper documentation is provided within 24 hours.


Approved resolutions are issued as:

• Store credit, or

• Replacement product


This policy ensures food safety, quality, and fairness.
